If you live in the Selwyn District, support is available for your wellbeing needs, even in rural areas. This page offers an overview of services and organisations across Selwyn. This is not an exhaustive list, and there are many additional community centres, men’s sheds, and local events throughout the district that may also be helpful.

Please note that many core services are based in Christchurch but provide support across Selwyn. The Loft can assist you in navigating and connecting with these services.

Selwyn Central Community Care

A volunteer-based organisation supporting residents with health needs to remain living at home. Services include transport to medical appointments, home visits, outings, and meal delivery.

Heartland Services

Heartland Services helps ensure rural communities can access government and community support. Centres are located in Darfield, Leeston, Lincoln, and Rolleston, offering one-on-one assistance as well as access to technology, printers, and phones.
