Loft Partners:

The Collaboration

More than just tenants, our partners are part of a collaborative network.

At The Loft, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our partners are a diverse group of community organisations who share a commitment to supporting the wellbeing of people and whānau across Christchurch. By working alongside one another in a shared space, we make it easier for people to access the support they need and simpler for organisations to connect, coordinate, and work together.

Through regular communication, warm referrals, shared problem-solving, and a commitment to putting people first, we work together to reduce barriers and create more seamless support pathways.

Why Co-location Matters

People's lives don't fit neatly within the boundaries of a single service.

Someone seeking support may be navigating housing challenges, financial pressure, family concerns, health issues, employment barriers, or social isolation all at the same time. Having multiple organisations under one roof means people can connect with the right support, often in a single visit.

Co-location helps us:

  • Make support easier to access

  • Provide warm referrals between services

  • Reduce the need for people to repeat their stories

  • Strengthen relationships between organisations

  • Identify gaps and opportunities across the community

  • Deliver more coordinated, person-centred support

Working Better Together

Our collaborative approach was built on a simple idea: communities are stronger when organisations work together. The Loft was established to bring agencies together in a shared hub, creating opportunities for connection, innovation, and collective impact. [theloftchr...rch.org.nz]

By sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources, our partner tenants contribute to a welcoming environment where people can find practical support, build resilience, and take steps towards their goals. Every organisation brings its own strengths, but together we are able to achieve more than any one agency could alone
