Digital Support Tablets in Your Community

Support that’s easier to reach — and closer to where you already are

Where You Can Find a Tablet:

You can now access a digital support tablet at many trusted community locations across Christchurch and Canterbury, including:

  • Most Christchurch City Libraries

  • Community House

  • Ara Central Campus

  • Woolston Community Library

  • Rangiora Library

  • Selwyn Libraries

  • Union Street Complex

More locations will continue to be added as the rollout grows.

If you think your organisation could benefit from hosting a tablet, you can join our waitlist for future placement.

We’ve launched secure digital support tablets in libraries and community spaces across Christchurch to make it easier for you to explore support in a way that feels safe, private, and on your terms. We know that taking the first step can feel overwhelming — especially if you’re unsure where to start, don’t have access to a device, or need a discreet option because of what’s happening at home. These tablets are designed to remove those barriers. They’re simple to use, available in places you already trust, and give you space to look around quietly, without pressure or judgement. Each tablet is locked to The Loft website and automatically clears data after a short break, so you can browse freely without leaving a digital footprint.

What You Can Do on a Tablet

The tablets give you simple, private ways to get support:

  • Browse support information at your own pace

  • Use our chatbot to figure out what services might help

  • Connect directly with our team when you’re ready

  • Explore support without pressure, judgement, or a digital trail

Whether you’re taking your first step or looking for the right next one, these tools are here to make things easier.
