Administrator 
The Loft’s purpose is to reduce the wellbeing disparities experienced by people living in eastern Christchurch by addressing the underlying causes, and immediate and long-term consequences of social inequality.

The Loft’s holistic partnership of national and local organisations was established - to fundamentally reform how we co-organise and operate, far beyond simply ‘living together.’ A recent independent evaluation identified The Loft as a highly valued and valuable addition to the local community.

The Loft’s busy ‘social emergency response service’(SERS) has been operating since July 2016.

SERS provides rapid, no appointment, access to a holistic needs-assessment and multi-intervention service for children, adults and whanau experiencing acute and enduring, high and complex needs. The range of services provided from The Loft includes housing, child protection support and advice, mental health, family and sexual violence, food, clothing and microfinance, problem gambling and legal assistance.

The Administrator provides equally split Executive Assistance to The Loft Manager, the Director of Family Help Trust and the Chief Executive Officer of Aviva. This role is a permanent position, 30 hours per week.

The Role Includes:

• Scheduling meetings, book venues, arrange catering where required, ensuring the meeting venue is set up and cleared
• Data Entry
• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes for meetings and distribute to participants
• File and retrieve documents, records and reports
• Review documents and assist with report preparation and presentations
• Make travel and accommodation arrangements
• Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
• Read and analyse memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
• Maintains confidentiality and uses a high degree of discretion
• Complete Reception role cover when needed (Breaks during periods of Annual Leave/Sickness)
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation and as a relationship builder
